    • My apologies for the long delay in responding, Gretchen. I haven’t been on WordPress a lot lately.

I’m very flattered and grateful for the nomination, but I really don’t want to be seen as inspiring. I don’t want to feel like I have to live up to such a label. I hope you understand?

Also, I hope all is well with you and family?

      Hugs! 💖

  1. Hey wordsgood – I was thinking about you and when i saw this post come up – I wanted to drop by and say hello. I also wanted to mention something I think you should try. I chuckle to bring it up because of the comments we shared a while back – and the snake oil solicitors – and so please know this is nothing like that – not at all. and you do not even have to get back with me on whether or not you tried it out – but it is something that someone suggested to me and it changed my health in ways that have been crazy good.
so here is what I think you should check on trying for a couple of months – you may have heard of it – but just in case – it is called MSM
(not to be confused with MMS, which is mineral stuff)..
but MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) is a form of biologically available sulfur, naturally occurring in extremely tiny amounts in plants and it helps with so many body ailments – it is often offered with Glucosamine & Chondroitin – and while I know little about that (and heard the MSM mixed with those items is too little to do good) but MSM alone is life changing when taken because it gets rid of so much gunk int he body.
so often the underlying root cause to all conditions has to do with internal gunk in the body – from build up of metals, toxins, parasites, etc. – and this sulfur, which is easy not he body – you just start small and increase as the body can – and well it is not toxic and it breaks down the protein chains of parasites and I really really want you yo please consider trying some -please. 🙂 ❤
and if you do – check amazon for options – they have free shipping on some orders and well, not all MSM is the same so make sure it is a good brand (like Now foods) – I heard someone brag about the liquid MSM – but the powder is what worked for me and I could shout from the rooftops how helpful it was.
okay, just wanted to toss that your way – and I am getting read to pause form blogging starting next week – but would like to also say that you can email me if you have any more questions on MSM (or other things that worked for my body) and if you do emailk me – I promise to keep religion or issues of faith out of every share!
okay, you are in my thoughts today and I was thinking of you when I head about the cat owner who was on tv….
"A meow massages the heart". – Stuart McMillan
"No amount of time can erase the memory of a good cat, and no amount of masking tape can ever totally remove his fur from your couch." – Leo Dworken
"A cat has absolute emotional honesty: human beings, for one reason or another, may hide their feelings, but a cat does not." – Ernest Hemingway
"A cat pours his body on the floor like water. It is restful just to see him." – William Lyon Phelps
"There are few things in life more heartwarming than to be welcomed by a cat." – Tay Hohoff

    • Awe, thank you for thinking of me! You’re a friend so I don’t take your advice as anything but sincerely meant concern. And yes, I have heard of read about what you suggest. Jack Ozbourne’s case is quite a bit different from my own so the supplements and paleo diet are not really going to be of much use to me, though eating better is definitely something I’m working on. (Aren’t we all? Lol.)

May I ask why you’re taking a break from blogging? Is everything okay, I hope? If it’s just that you need a break from the internet, I can certainly understand that. Online life can be fun, informative and is a great way to connect with others…but it can also be exhausting and frustating h**l! Sometimes my body decides for me, but there have been plenty of times I deliberately take a break from it. And I will surely continue to do so. 😊

Thank you sooo much for thinking of me (and my kitty 😅) and offering suggestions to help. That you care enough to reach out means the world to me! 💖 I really appreciate the notice about your going offline for a bit too, it’s comforting to know it wasn’t something I said that chased you away… Managed to dig myself into a big hole just yesterday by leaving badly thought out and worded comments at an atheist blog I follow. Lesson of the day: Do not try to think or express deep thoughts when you haven’t slept at all for a few days!

Sending you a Big Hug now! 💕 😻 (That cat one is from ancient kitty, who also sends her thanks and love.) 😊

p.s. If the dear old lady keeps me up again tonight, I’m sending her to visit you. 😂 How such a teeny little furball can have such a powerful set of lungs on her and be a super demanding diva, is beyond me. This from the same cat who until about five years ago, didn’t usually even bother to give me the time of day…now she thinks Siamese is her state of being, not her breed, and guess who is now her conjoined twin?

      • well I am not sure about all the paleo yet – but I am about MSM and so please consider at least trying that at some point……..\
and your reply was so sweet – took the hug and soaked it up – and tell ancient kitty that her hug was nice too – and how funny that she clings to you lie a Siamese (and when I read that for some reason the old disney song was going through my head – “we are siamese if you please…..”
and the break is more for summer – the teacher side of me knows the value of summer pauses – whether needed or not – 🙂 also – I want to later just rethink of my blog’s identity and focus. And on July 2nd it is the one year anniversary and so it is all lining up. 🙂
but I agree with you that breaks from internet are good – even though while on my break I plan on still visiting many of the blogs I follow – have to do that – but just not as much, ya know?
tanks again for the double hugs…. ❤
