No, I have completely abandoned blogging. It’s just been really tough these last several months and I haven’t had the energy for much more than getting through each day. But…things might actually be looking up a bit now. At least I hope so! 😊

Hi Gretchen. I hope you remember me.
It’s been a long time since I was actively blogging. The last couple of years have been incredibly hard in my world and a lot of things, including my blog, have fallen by the wayside. I’m trying to get back into it, but make no promises of how successful I’ll be.
What I want to say, I’m afraid to as two of my in-laws – who have done their level best in the last 21+ years to make me feel like lower than pond scum, all in a ploy to bust up my now 20 year marriage – have been known to cyber stalk me. And use everything I say or *don’t say* against me in neverending attempts to convince my husband to leave me.
He won’t and the only the only thing their accomplishing is to drive their son and brother further away. And hurting both of us, especially him. (I’d like to say it doesn’t hurt when I’m called nasty names and constantly accused of things I didn’t do…but it does.)
Sorry, I didn’t mean to dump on you, especially after being away so long. I guess I just needed a friendly person to vent to. I hope you don’t mind?
In other news, how is life in Gretchen’s world? I saw one of your pieces on your soon to be president and completely agree. That man in power, particularly with the cabinet he’s choosing, is an international disaster looking for a place to happen. I shudder to think of the very real threat he poses to everyone except the uber rich. You and everyone one in the US (ecludingm the uber rich and politically powerful), all have my sincere sympathies. Especially the ones who honestly thing he really cares about the poor, working or middle class. They are in for one helluva shock.
